Tozer school closure update

Due to the escalation of the COVID-19 Coronavirus  worldwide and the additional government directives on school closures, travel & public gatherings we have taken the decision to close the school after classes on Saturday. We will continue normal timetable of all classes on Friday and Saturday up to 3pm for all those wanting to attend.

Ballet classes will go ahead as normal Friday evening as the ballet exams have been cancelled & there is studio space. But on Saturday, due to Gaz the street dance teacher not being available to teach on Saturday afternoon we will close the school at 3pm.

Diligent cleaning of all the studios continues and we will be consistently encouraging the necessary precautions of distancing and hand washing.

We have no cases of the virus in the school, but for the safety and health of all we must take the necessary action to close from Saturday evening  until further notice.

After Saturday we will monitor all the government announcements & update you all as best we can.

All the students over the past few weeks have been particularly resilient, positive & in very good spirits whilst at the studios and we know this will continue well after this crisis is over.

Thank you to all the students who have given the staff some light relief during this unprecedented period of uncertainty.

We are looking at creative ways to keep up training & morale during the coming weeks and the  possibility of private vocal lessons operated via Skype & staggered private dance lessons at the studio to give students focus & consistency- more details will be announced shortly.

For now stay well & let’s pull together as we know we can in order to get through this.

Thank you.
