Show Information, Easter Timetable, and more …

I hope you are all well.

Thank you to everyone for their commitment this week to rehearsals, we have had less gaps in the choreography which is encouraging.
Please continue to keep absences to an absolute minimum as we launch our way into the latter part of the show rehearsal period.

In this email there will be a lot of information, so please read and digest it all as best you can. There will be questions you will want answering, but be assured all will get sorted in time.

First of all please note an extension to our Summer term dates – we will break for the summer after classes on Friday 22nd July. This extra week is to make up for the week missed in January as the studios were closed due to Covid.

Our Leaver’s showcase will be on Saturday 16th July in the afternoon – times tbc.

REMINDER- Dropping off Students at the studio
Please do not stop and drop any students for classes on the lane or the road in front of the Farmhouse.
Safety is paramount.
The car park is the only place to stop, deliver and collect children.
Take care when leaving the car park as children maybe crossing to the studios.
Anyone bringing students’ needs to be made aware of this information so please speak with family members.

SHOW INFORMATION

Costume Distribution Day – Sunday 3rd April 10-2pm in Studio 1
This will be the day assigned to distributing costumes to everyone.
Please can parents arrive to collect costumes on this day only, if you cannot make it please assign the collection to another parent or family member as we are unable to make exceptions due to the number of costumes and families in the school.
Please be prepared to wait for a short while during busy times.
All payments must be made before any costumes are released.
I will endeavour to get prices announced for all costumes out in an email next week so you can budget and plan for the remaining balance owed.
We will accept cash or cheques (made payable to Tozer Show Account) on the day or you can advise us of a Bacs transfer to the show account prior to collection and we can then check.
Costume hand out day is always a mammoth task and sourcing costumes without incurring huge delivery costs has been somewhat challenging, however we are very excited with all the costumes and the students can’t wait to finally get to wear them in readiness for the stage!

Chaperone/Parent helpers for the show
After costume distribution we will be holding a meeting for all Chaperones/Parent helpers at 2.30pm in studio 1.
If you have offered to help backstage then it is vital that you have all the information required to do this.
Please attend this informal meeting and we can allocate student numbers/check everyone’s availability for the show weekend and give out information so that we are covered and organised for the show weekend.
All chaperones and parent helpers will need a Tozer logo t-shirt so please order and purchase one as soon as you can and please don’t leave it until the week before the show as we cannot deliver them in time.

Easter Holiday rehearsals-always subject to minor changes
Please see below the rehearsal schedule for the Easter break.
It is essential that we keep the rehearsals going as we have had a very disruptive rehearsal period so far.
We have just over a week left after the Easter bank holiday before we move to the theatre for the performances.

All rehearsals are chargeable as they are extra and out of term time. All staff need to be paid for their invaluable time and efforts.
Your co-operation with this is greatly appreciated.

£3 per person per rehearsal.

We are giving plenty of notice so please get prepared and put cash in a named envelope and this can be handed in at the beginning of the day/rehearsal or at the start of the week for all rehearsals.
i.e 2 rehearsals per day = £6
3 rehearsals per day = £9
4 or more rehearsals per person in one day is £10pp

Read the schedule carefully and make sure you know when your child is needed.
