I hope you’re all well & having a good week.
Junior school – Parents watching week this Saturday 8th July
Parents are invited to watch classes from
9am – 1.30pm.
Please allow some extra time on Saturday due to crossing over of classes & switching studios potentially may cause a slightly later finishing time.
Leaver’s Showcase 15th July
Showcase tickets are selling well so thank you to everyone who has purchased tickets so far.
We are nearly sold out for the 4.30pm performance.
Plenty are available for the first showcase at 2.30pm so please help us to have 2 sold out performances!
We are unable to reserve any tickets so send payment in a named envelope (£3pp) & tickets will be allocated to you.
Costumes/accessories will be simple.
Ballet/Modern & Tap uniform will be required.
Hair will be expected to be well groomed for both performances and light make-up for Inter and Senior students.
Extra rehearsals as previously advised are on Friday 14th July as below
(Normal timetable will be replaced with the following):
- 4.45-5.30 Junior Jazz & Junior Street dance
- 5.30-6.30 All vocal groups & Tap numbers
- 6.30-7.15 Grade 3 & 4 Ballet/Grade 3 Modern
- 7.00-9.00 Inter Jazz/Grade 5 & 6 Ballet & all Senior numbers.
Shout Outs
This week:
- Edie Bradshaw for her beautiful technique in ballet this week especially her sautés (jumps) and her independent practice.
- Eliza Pain for her excellent posture & bright participation in her ballet class.
- Grade 1 Ballet class for their fantastic concentration & great work ethic/calm & mature approach.
- All Musical Theatre exam students for their professionalism & discipline during their examination this week.
