Latest News and Update the 6th February
Dear Parents,
I hope you are all well.
Thank you to everyone this week with the enthusiasm for the Tozer show preparation.
Most of the costume deposits have now been received, which is great!
We have made a start on ordering and sourcing costumes, which takes hours of work, but we want our students to feel great up on stage!
Junior/ Inter limbering classes
Age 8-13yrs
We would like to encourage all our junior & Inter jazz students to attend the limbering class at 5:30pm to 6:15pm on a Wednesday.
This is a pay as you go £5 a week class and is crucial in supporting jazz technique as well as building strength, flexibility, stamina & meeting/working with new friends.
During the rehearsal process nearer to the show, we would also like to use this class as extra rehearsal time to bring the groups together for their show number.
Everyone is welcome to begin next Wednesday or after half term.
Please be aware that Tickets for the show which we have now entitle (Tozer studios presents..) ‘From Page to Stage’ will go on sale from Monday 23rd of February – available from the box office at Palace Theatre, Mansfield.
Chaperone/Parent helpers show meeting
In order for us to be fully prepared for backstage/dressing room organisation during the show, I would like to hold a meeting for all those who have generously volunteered to help with chaperoning during the show weekend.
So that it does not interfere with the running of the timetable, the meeting will be held on Thursday 26th February at 7 pm in studio 1.
I’m hoping as many of you as possible will be able to make the meeting, it will last approximately an hour.
I can then submit all the information to Notts County Council as the regulations for children in entertainment, professional or amateur our strictly regulated.
This is for the safety and well-being of the children and young adult performing.
Half term holiday club
Please don’t forget to register by email your interest for our half term holiday club which is on Tuesday 17th of February from 8:30 am to 4 pm
