Latest News and Update the 6th March
Dear Parents,
I hope you are all well.
Please read the Newsletter’s carefully every week.
It’s our way of contacting and connecting with every parent and passing on important notifications.
Show rehearsals went well this week.
Everyone was focused and working hard.
We are a little behind schedule for a few reasons, so we may have to put more rehearsals in at some point before the Easter break.
I will announce this next week after tomorrow’s rehearsals.
Change to one rehearsal time on Saturdays
Notified by email last Monday – Reminder
- Grade 3 Modern will be at 1.15-2.15pm
- Grade 2/3 Tap will be at 2.15-3.00pm
(These lessons are switched around from previous timings).
Easter intensive week
The dates for this rehearsal week are 7th April to the 11th April inclusive.
I have been notified of a few absences during this week, but we would like to see as many as possible during the intensive week.
A timetable for this week is being devised and will be announced in the next newsletter.
Chaperones for show
Those parents helping with the show backstage will need a DBS certificate.
If you have a certificate please make sure you send me a copy to have on file for the show weekend and if you haven’t one in place please let me know as I can arrange one.
The fee is £16.80 and lasts for 3 years. Funds to Tozer Show account.
Shout Out’s
This week our shout out is for Leah Milner for her recall of her show choreography last Saturday.
Mrs Hancock would like a shout for her Inter Jazz class for their continued effort with their show work.
Pixie Dust Dancewear visit
We will have a visit from our Dancewear supplier Pixie Dust one day during the Easter intensive rehearsal week in April.
This is an opportunity to purchase, ballet shoes, tights and anything required for the show.
We will let everyone know what they will need ahead of the visit.
