Latest News and Update the 27th March

Dear Parents,

I hope you are all well.

Rehearsals are on tomorrow (Saturday 28th March) as normal.

Please do your best to attend as we only have 4 working weeks left before the show weekend.

Absences have held us back of late.

Illness is obviously unavoidable.

Tuesday April 7th – Saturday 11th inclusive

Please check the timetable advertised so you are fully aware of your child’s rehearsal times.

The Easter Time time can be downloaded here or on the Dates & Timetables page of the website.

Thursday 9th April
10am-3pm

Parents will be able to get fitted and purchase all your dance shoes & accessories for the show.

The pop up shop will be in studio 2.

Cash/Debit card/Credit card accepted.

Below is a list of foot & leg wear required for the show numbers:

Grade 7/8 Ballet (Girls) pink ballet tights, pointe shoes or soft blocks with pointe shoe ribbon sewn on.
Grade 4-6 Ballet (Older boys) black canvas split sole ballet shoes with black elastic sewn on.
Grade 3/4/5 Ballet (Girls) pink ballet tights / pink satin ballet shoes with pink pointe shoe ribbons sewn on.
Grade 6 Ballet (Girls) pink ballet tights / pink split sole canvas ballet shoes with pink elastic sewn on.
Grade 2 Ballet (Girls) pink ballet tights / black canvas split sole ballet shoes with black elastic sewn on.
Pre-school/Pre-Primary/Primary and Grade 1 (Girls) pink satin ballet shoes with pink elastic sewn on.
Pre-school/Pre-Primary/Primary and Grade 1 (Boys) black ballet shoes with black elastic sewn on.
Junior/Inter Jazz (All) black split sole jazz shoes.
All tap numbers require black tap shoes.
Musical Theatre (Girls/Boys) black split sole jazz shoes; those in skirts require black character shoes.
Junior/Inter Street Dance plain all black trainers.
Senior Street Dance TBC.

10am-1pm

Costumes will be available to collect on this day.

If you are unable to collect on this day, please nominate someone else and pay beforehand.

We have many costumes & are unable to cater for lots of requests to alter the collection day to suit individuals.

No costumes will be released until full payment made.

There will hopefully be a list of costume prices released very soon.

Prices have soured since our last show & we have done our very best to source the most reasonably priced costumes & accessories.

Please bear with me whilst the lists are finished as this is hours of work due to many costumes being made up of 3-4 components.

NOBODY WILL BE ALLOWED INTO THE DRESSING ROOMS OR BACK STAGE WITHOUT A DBS CERTIFICATE.

Please make sure I have a copy of your DBS certificate emailed to me as soon as possible.

If you wish to apply through me for a certificate, please do so.

The cut off date for applying for a DBS certificate is April 20th.
