Dear Parents,
I hope you’re well and have had a lovely summer break.
Classes resume on Saturday and we are really looking forward to welcoming our students back and meeting new ones as well.
Pre-loved Uniform Sale
Sarah Herniman will be helping out with the pre-loved uniform sale on Saturday from 9am.
Please visit her in the waiting room opposite studio 1.
If you have any uniform you would like to sell on, please find the uniform box near the egg shed and place your items inside the box.
Pixie Dust is the shop to visit for our logo uniform & other dance uniform when required.
Term Dates
- Classes resume Saturday 5th September.
- Half term runs from Saturday 17th October until we resume on Monday 2nd November.
- End of Autumn term: Saturday 12th December.
- Spring term resumes Monday 4th January 2027.
New Musical Theatre Classes
Replacing Ben & Sarah are tough shoes to fill, however we are very fortunate to have Rosie McLaughlin joining our team to teach Musical Theatre & Acting workshops from Tuesday 8th September.
- Junior/Inter 5.30-6.15pm
- Senior A & B 6.15-7.15pm
The classes will take a renewed format where we will be combining singing & acting workshops, incorporating technical acting through song, of course mixed with loads of theatrical fun!
Rosie holds a BA Degree from Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts & has a passion for Music, Singing & Acting.
We hope many of our regular & new students will enjoy a different chapter in our Musical Theatre journey at Tozer.
If you wish to trial, please call or email me for details of classes (age 7 upwards).
We are always looking for new recruits to boost the classes.
Modern & Tap Exams
Thursday 15th October is our confirmed date for exams.
Exam coaching will begin from 15th September on a Tuesday or Thursday evening.
Those students being invited for exams will get notification this weekend.
Ballet exams will be late November/early December.
Street Dance Students
- Unite the Scene – Saturday 21st November
- Royal Concert Hall, Nottingham
Please put this into your diary.
There will be rehearsals during half term.
Make sure we have any dates your child will be away during half term so we can plan ahead.
Important for Monday 7th September
Mrs Burnett is away on this day so we have a guest teacher to offer Contemporary workshops all evening, which will be a lovely opportunity to expand choreography uptake, technique & strength.
Please wear any leotard and leggings, no shoes required.
There will be a revised timetable just for this Monday. Please see below:
- 5.15-6.00 Grade 4 Ballet students
- 6.00-7.00 Grade 5 & 6 Ballet students
- 7.00-8.15 Grade 7/8/Senior Ballet students
Please make sure we start off the term with lovely clean, smart uniforms & appropriate grooming for your dance classes.
We pride ourselves on the importance of discipline required for dance & the performing arts.
