Latest News and Update the 2nd October
Dear Parents,
I hope you’re all well.
Thank you to all our students who have worked hard this week in all their lessons. Regular illness is becoming more prevalent now the students have returned to school for a few weeks. Please encourage washing of hands regularly to try & prevent germs spreading.
Absence from lessons
We are appreciative that most parents do notify us of absences, however we still have some who do not.
As part of our duty of care, it is essential that we know which students are expected to attend each session. When a student is absent without prior notification, we are unable to confirm whether they are safely at home, unable to attend due to illness, or simply unable to make the lesson for another reason.
A quick email letting us know that your child will be absent is therefore greatly appreciated and helps us to maintain appropriate safeguarding and attendance procedures.
Our school email address for those unsure is contact@tozerstudios.co.uk.
Please email as soon as possible, ideally before the start of the lesson, whenever your child is unable to attend.
Thank you for your help with this.
Modern & Tap exams
We only have a few weeks until our exams, please encourage your child & timetable in some practice at home for 5-10 minutes a day. They have so much to remember & repetition is the key to a positive & successful exam result & further progress.
Make sure your school is advised of their absence for their exam & return to school after their exam.
Half term
Please note half term is after classes on 16th October until we resume on Monday 2nd November.
Apart from Unite the Scene rehearsals, we have 3 Saturdays off for half term.
Rehearsals for UTS are 17th & 31st October, 10.30-12.30pm, £10 pp per rehearsal.
Shout Out’s
This week our shout out goes to:
- Junior and Inter limbering for working hard and pushing to improve their technique.
- Olivia Black for her improvement in performance & confidence in her tap exam preparation.
- Saturday Grade 4 Tap class for their commitment & determination to master new challenges with technique & syllabus exercises.
