Latest News and Update the 12th September
Dear Parents,
I hope you are all well.
We made a fantastic start this week to the new academic term with great attendance and an abundance of enthusiasm from our Tozer students.
Thank you to all of them for making the most of their classes, all the staff were thrilled with the work achieved already.
Seeing friends and catching up from the summer holidays was a delight to witness.
I’m sure this will continue through the term and beyond to the show rehearsals next year…
Tozer 2026 Show
The show weekend is 2nd & 3rd May 2026
We will finish for Easter after classes on Saturday 28th March, have the week of Easter off and then will resume rehearsing from Tuesday 7th May during the day and make the most of the students being off school.
We will then have 4 weeks before the show weekend.
Attendance for rehearsals is essential.
Ballet uniform
Sincere apologies for the confusion over the emails sent out regarding the new ballet uniform.
To clarify and moving forward those who are in Grade 5 Ballet only who are taking their exam this term will require the old style uniform/colour.
They will then purchase the new Grade 6 colour after their exam.
(If you are in Grade 5 and have already purchased a new leotard please let me know).
ALL other grades can go ahead & purchase the new uniform & wear in class as soon as possible and also wear them if they are doing an exam this term.
The only exception is Grade 5 Ballet.
I hope this clears up any confusion.
I have some sample leotards for sale from the recent photo session at a reduced price.If anyone would like to purchase any from me please get in touch for details.
October half term Holiday Club
After the success of the summer holiday clubs, Mrs Hancock will be holding another one on Tuesday 28th October.
Please email your interest and book your child in for another fun filled day at the studio learning new songs, dancing, crafts and games with friends.
Unite the Scene
Our street dance students will be performing at this year’s Unite the Scene on the weekend of 8th/9th November at the Royal Concert Hall in Nottingham.
Please let us know asap if you are unable to attend that weekend so we can organise numbers for the performances.
Tozer Family Instagram – New!
We are setting up a private Instagram account for Tozer students and parents only to access.
This will be used to post videos from class for practice or a sharing of work & photos.
Access will be by searching for Tozer family on instagram and then we can accept your request if you are a Tozer Student or parent.
Please make sure this is not abused and only as a platform for Tozer families.
We hope this will be a positive development in sharing work and support practise at home.
