Latest News and Update the 3rd January

Dear Parents,

HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL OUR TOZER FAMILIES AND FRIENDS!

This is a reminder that our new term classes start on Monday 5th January.
It is our show term which is very exciting!

We will keep the current timetable going until February half term with minor changes because of the exams last term.

See below.

(After half term we will be amalgamating some classes in order to progress rehearsals for the show. The full post half term amended timetable will be advertised in a few weeks time).

Students who took Ballet exams before Christmas move to next Grade

This Monday – 5th January:

Studio 1

4.45-5.30 Grade 4 Ballet (crossover 15 mins for both grades)
5.15-6.00 Grade 5 Ballet (new)
6.00-8.30 SHOW OPENING NUMBER (Senior Jazz class)

Studio 2

5.15-6.00 Grade 4 Tap (A)
6.00-6.45 Grade 6 Ballet (for any of the students not doing Senior Jazz number)
6.45-7.30 Grade 7 Ballet
7.30-8.15 Advanced Pointe

Studio 3

6.45-7.30 Grade 4 Tap (B)

Students who took Modern & Tap exams before Christmas please follow the details below:

Grade 1 Tap – stay at 11.15am on Saturday
Grade 3 Tap – stay at 2.15pm on Saturday
Grade 6 Tap – stay at same time,but becomes Inter Tap
Grade 3 Modern please attend Grade 4 at 3pm on Saturday
Grade 5 Modern – stay at same time, but becomes Grade 6 Modern
Inter Foundation Modern same time, but becomes Inter Modern

SENIOR JAZZ CLASS – opening show number

Sam Holden will be with us next week to choreograph the opening show number as he has done in the past.

We are thrilled to have him on board again and grateful that he can be with us during his short break from being Dance Captain on the UK & Ireland tour of Matilda the musical.

Sam will be working on the number on Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday (potentially Thursday) next week along side the normal timetable.

Monday 6-8.30pm
Tuesday 7.15-9.15pm
Wednesday 7.00-9.15pm
Thursday tbc

Please attend normal classes around rehearsals where possible.

Reminder

Show weekend is May 2/3.
All students are involved.
If you cannot be in the show an email must be sent asap to contact@tozerstudios.co.uk

Important
As mentioned before in the newsletters- We will take only one week as holiday in April for the Easter break due to show rehearsals.
The break will be after rehearsals on the 28th March & we will resume Tuesday 7th April.
