Latest News and Update 12th June

Dear Parents,

I hope you are all well.

We have had another hard-working week at the studios, and we are delighted with the enthusiasm of all our students leading up to our events this half term.

Book Launch – Thursday 18th June

Preparations for the book launch are well underway.

The Vocal students have been working hard on their song for the launch, and our Senior ballet students have been creating a lovely piece of choreography to perform.

We need lots of parents to come and support our students and our close friend Zena Unitt with her first book launch.

Please tell your friends they are also welcome to attend, the launch will only last up to an hour.

The book Cloud Mother will be available to purchase and personally signed by Zena.

Fiskofest – Saturday 4th July

It has been confirmed that our two slots for the event are 2:30pm and 4:15pm.

Help Required

We have had an amazing response from everyone wanting to be involved in Fiskofest, therefore we will need some help backstage to chaperone the students and their quick changes during the performances.

Please let me know if you are willing to chaperone, we need at least 4 helpers.
We also require more changing areas so if anyone has a Gazebo with sides they are willing to lend us please let us know
We will also require some help to set up on Thursday 2nd July in the evening with erecting the Marquee & changing areas

We would be immensely grateful for the help as we cannot do it all on our own.

This week we have shout outs for:

Eleanor Richardson for her commitment and initiative in preparing for her Musical Theatre exam
Pippa Hammond for her storytelling and expression through song in her vocal class
Lola Clarke and Iona Lynn for working together with sensitivity and understanding to create their roles in the choreography of Cloud Mother for Zena Unitt’s book launch
the Inter Jazz class for their creativity and artistry when developing their piece for our Leavers showcase
