TECHNICAL REHEARSAL SATURDAY 6th APRIL AT THE THEATRE NOT THE STUDIO

EVERYONE NEEDS TO BE SIGNED IN ON AND OUT OF THE STAGE DOOR ON ARRIVAL & DEPARTURE.
NO CHILD IS TO LEAVE THE THEATRE WITHOUT A CHAPERONE OR HELPER WHEN HANDING OVER TO PARENTS.

 

SATURDAY

9.15 – 9.30am: All students to arrive at the stage door in usual dance uniform, wearing a Tozer hoodie, with hair done but no make-up required. Please bring all costumes on their hangers (with every single item named) and leave in dressing rooms overnight.Chaperones please arrive at 9.15am and move to the front of the queue.

COLLECTION TIMES (approx.).
12pm – Pre-school, Pre-Primary & Primary Ballet (unless in Primary modern).
1pm – ‘Chickens’- Primary Modern.
6.30pm – Everyone else.

NO parents are allowed backstage or into the auditorium on the tech rehearsal unless they are a named parent helper/chaperone or Tozer staff.

Please arrive & depart from the stage door (enter through the Museum entrance at the top of Leeming Street to the side of the theatre entrance).

Please be patient as all children will be signed in and must be signed out too. The safety and welfare of the students is paramount & we must all help to ensure they are all looked after safely.

IMPORTANT! If you wish to allocate another adult to collect your child, we must have this in writing, before the show weekend begins, with an attached contact number of the person collecting, and a code word written down, which they will be able to relay to the chaperone when asked. SUNDAY

ARRIVAL & COLLECTION TIMES

Pre School, Pre-Primary & Primary pupils
Arrive at 1.15 – collect at interval (approx. 3.30pm)
Arrive at 5.15 – collect at interval (approx. 8pm or earlier if parents not in audience).

ALL OTHER STUDENTS TO ARRIVE AT 12.30 with hair and makeup ALL done. Evening performance will finish at approx. 9.30pm.

For quick change students please bring your clearly named (large print) plastic bucket for quick change area. (Students will know who they are).
ALL Inter and Senior students need a nude coloured leotard and black hot pants over the top for Radio mic fittings & quick changes backstage.

DRESSING ROOMS

Pre-school, Pre-primary, Primary & Junior children will be in the Rehearsal Room upstairs or the ‘Meeting Place’.  All other students will be in the numbered dressing rooms – please see notice board at Tozer for the lists.

CHAPERONES / PARENT HELPERS – Essential help!

Many thanks for volunteering!
Please wear all black and remember your lanyard for identity purposes.
Licensed chaperones please bring your DBS and licence certificate.

CHECKLIST – PLEASE NAME EVERYTHING

All costumes, tights, socks, shoes, gloves & hats. Personal props if needed.
All Make-up requirements, tissues, make-up wipes.
Hair equipment – gel, hairspray, elastics, hairpins, grips, comb & brush.
Packed food (lunch and tea) ONLY water allowed.  NO juice or fizzy drinks!
All food and drink to be packed away from costumes.
NO nail varnish or any jewellery, please leave at home.

Please ensure performers get an early night on the Friday, as Saturday is a very long day. Same again on Saturday night as there are two shows on the Sunday!

DVD OF SHOW

The show will be filmed on both performances and order forms will be available at the
studio to take away and fill in. Payment must be made at the time of ordering to secure your copy. Details will be on the order form. Sorry, no orders without payment.
The children get endless pleasure from watching their show again & again. NO cameras or filming is allowed in the theatre.

DATES FOR YOUR DIARY

End of term – Sunday 7th April after the show
Summer term starts Saturday 27th April.
