Updates and Information

I hope you all had a lovely half term break.

Saturday 13th July – Showcase

Details of the Leaver’s/Graduate showcase are being finalised and information will be sent out at the end of this week regarding performance times, tickets, rehearsals and costuming.

There will be an extra showcase rehearsal on Wednesday 10th July for everyone involved in the showcase at 5-9pm (Juniors will be needed until 8pm)

Please do your best to attend

Just to clarify which classes are involved in the showcase:

  • ALL vocal classes
  • Ballet Grades 3 up to Senior/Advanced
  • Modern Grades 3 & 4
  • ALL Jazz classes
  • ALL street dances classes
  • Tap Grades 5-Advanced 1

I have had a few confirmed emails for those unable to take part due to legitimate reasons.

If you are unable to do the performances on the 13th July (rehearsals in the afternoon and 2 performances in the evening) please send a courteous email by Friday 7th June so the other students, choreography & castings are not disrupted as we intensify rehearsals towards the performances. The showcase will be a fantastic end to the term with a celebration for those graduating and a joyous occasion to mark another very successful year at Tozer Studios.

There are several fees outstanding, please check as soon as possible if you have overlooked payment – this includes Private vocal lesson fees to Sarah and Ben of which there are some outstanding. Please note that fees are due at the beginning of the term. Thank you!

Show DVDs

Please check your show DVD is working sufficiently as we have had a few returned due to software incompatibility and disruption when playing on some devices. Some older DVD players have not been able to play the discs, we can sort this out if you let us know.

Safety on Hockerwood Lane & parking

Please take care on the lane approaching the studio, the speed limit is 20mph and must be adhered to along with parking in the car park when dropping off or collecting children. There are still several drivers stopping and dropping off children outside the Farmhouse. Please pass this onto other members of your family if they are delivering students to the studio as this is for the safety of everyone.

Finally, well done to all Year 11 and 13 students who are halfway through their GCSE’s & A Levels, we are proud of your achievements and your commitment to classes during the busy period. Keep it up and good luck for the next two weeks.
