February Update and Info
Everyone has made a focused start to the New Year and students are working hard in all classes to improve their technical ability and personal standards. This can only be achieved by consistent attendance which has been very good so far this term.
Reminders
- Trophies – Please now send in all engraved trophies ready for our prize giving event next month.
- Email Contact – We would very much appreciate it if you have any queries or enquiries to please email the school by sending correspondence to [email protected]. Julie is highly efficient at corresponding on our behalf and will reply to you promptly. She is a huge help to the staff who don’t always have the time to reply immediately. The staff’s private mobile numbers and email addresses are not to be used unless there is an emergency or extenuating circumstances.
- Mrs Lynn’s email ([email protected]) is available for queries relating to school invoices and fees.
Prize giving and Showcase on Sunday March 1st
Everyone is welcome to attend the prize giving at 1.30pm as normal at the Create theatre in Mansfield and we welcome everyone to watch the informal showcase which follows.
Students taking part in the showcase after the prize giving involve:
- All vocal groups
- Junior street crew
- All Senior Street crew
- Senior Jazz
Selected exam work demonstrations will be from invited students who will be advised separately before half term.
More showcase details to follow before we break for half term, which will include information about rehearsal schedule on the day and buying tickets.

Modern and Tap exams on 13th February
The timetable for the exam day is displayed on the notice board.
Please make a note of the timings so you can advise your school of your child’s absence.
Individual notification will not be sent out, so please make sure you look and check timings. Students must arrive one hour before the allotted exam time.
