Weekly News Update And Important Info

We have made a fantastic start to our show rehearsals this week with great attendance and enthusiasm all round.

Important
If you haven’t already, can I please again encourage you to transfer the costume deposit into the show account and send in your completed show consent form. We still have some outstanding deposits which may have been overlooked-this will hinder an already complicated system when ordering costumes for everyone due to the numbers so we would appreciate this to be done as soon as possible.

Tomorrow – Musical Theatre 3.15-4.30pm
We will not require anyone for the Musical Theatre rehearsal tomorrow, we will announce the cast in lessons next week and then it will be full steam ahead.
Inter and Senior students are required on Tuesday until 8.15pm as per last Tuesday.
I will notify those needed for rehearsals as we move along.

Photographer
Over the next few weeks we will have a photographer in the studios to take action shots for the show programme and for promotional services.
Miss Unitt’s dad has volunteered to do this as a keen photographer and we are very grateful he has offered his time and skill to help us.
If anyone does not wish their child/children to be included in any photos please put this in writing to the school as soon as possible.

Tozer Logo Joggers/Hoodies/T-shirts
When we move to the theatre all children will be required to have a Tozer logo uniform.
The Palace Theatre have changed terms and conditions on entry to the backstage area.
All Tozer students and staff will need to be identifiable throughout the show weekend.
• Adults/ helpers/ chaperones will need a Tozer t-shirt.
• All Students will need a hoodie/t-shirt and joggers.
These can be worn when arriving and leaving the theatre and in rehearsal when not in costumes.
Please name all items
Anyone who hasn’t got this uniform will need to purchase and details plus prices can be found on the website here.
Orders are taken through the appropriate order form which will be given out to students.
Please order early to avoid disappointment, last minute orders may not be fulfilled due to stock levels. We hope this will not be the case, but we must plan ahead of April.

Mrs Burnett
Unfortunately Mrs Burnett had a small accident this week and has fractured her left wrist.
Being the trooper she is after having her wrist
X-rayed and a cast applied, she was back in the studio within the hour teaching again.
Thank you for your commitment Mrs B!
We wish you a hassle free recovery!

Thank you for all your patience and support during our show term.

Miss Haynes
