Weekly News Update And Important Info – 1 April

We have a busy and exciting time ahead as we approach the final show preparation period before the big weekend of the show on April 30th and May 1st 2022.

Please continue to spread the word about our fantastic show as lots of tickets are still available. It’s been 3 years since we have put on a show of this scale and the students will we want two full audiences, and for some graduating students this will be their last Tozer show.

Tomorrow – Saturday 2nd April
Rosie- May Foundation visit for Easter Fundraiser

• Easter holiday rehearsals begin.
• Prep modern and tap is on as usual for our pre-school children
• As well as rehearsals tomorrow we have a visit from the Easter Bunny!

Miss Unitt’s mum, Zena is a colleague and fundraiser for the Rosie May Foundation and the Easter Bunny will be arriving in the Foundation’s pink TukTuk to see the children tomorrow morning.

The Bunny will distribute Smarties to all the children who will then be asked in return to fill the Smartie tube with coins by way of fundraising for the charity. Please return the filled tubes on Saturday April 9th to Tozer.

Letters will be handed out with the Smarties explaining how your child can help.

• Costume distribution from 10am.

Please have payment in cash ready or make a Bacs payment prior to arriving to the Tozer Show Account.

Invoices have been distributed.
No costumes will be released unless paid for.
Make sure we know if anyone is collecting on your behalf and that your invoice has been fully paid.

Please note students who are Playing cards and Queens (except Olivia) in the show number ‘About Alice’ will need Pink Satin Ballet shoes. Hope this clears up any confusion.

• Chaperone meeting 2.30pm

If you have offered to chaperone/be a parent helper across the show weekend please do your best to attend this meeting for important information on the whole show weekend. It should last 30-40mins.

Sunday 10th April – Hardings Pop Up Shop

Thanks to all of you who have let us know what ballet shoes and accessories you intend to purchase on Sunday 10th April from the Hardings Pop Up Shop.

If anyone else is intending to attend, please let us have the following information so that we can ensure we have the range of shoes available for you to purchase/ order and/or walk away with on the day.

• Name of Pupil
• Will you be attending on the 10th April – Yes or No?
• If you are attending, what current shoe size does your child wear?

Timings for the Sunday 10th April 2022 are as follows

• 9.30 – 11am – For pupils who need pink satin ballet shoes

• 11am – 12pm – For pupils who need black / white leather ballet shoes

• 12.30 – 2pm – For pupils who need pink canvas ballet shoes

• 2.30 – 3.30pm – For pupils who need tap shoes / pointe shoes

If you have let us know that you need jazz shoes as well, these will be fitted during the relevant ballet shoe session. If you need to attend the 2.30 / 3.30 session (tap/pointe shoe fittings), please do let us know, so that we can ensure that we have enough time set aside for this more specialist fitting service.
