Latest News and Update 13th January
Dear Parents,
I hope you are all well.
It has certainly been a great start to the new term at Tozer this week.
It was lovely to welcome back so many enthusiastic students last Saturday and a huge welcome to our new students this term who have settled in and joined our Tozer family.
There will be many things to look forward to and working towards this term.
We hope to continue and build on our performance and exam success from 2022 and create some more Tozer memories.
Exams
We will be holding Ballet Exams this term in March – date yet to be confirmed from the Royal Academy of Dancing HQ.
As soon as we have the date we will advertise it and those selected this time will be notified.
We will also have Modern/Tap exams either towards the end of term or closely after Easter depending on the date of the Ballet exams.
NEW TO THIS TERM 1-2-1 Exam coaching
From the exam sessions last year, we have discovered more widely that some students alongside their group exam coaching required some extra intervention to build their confidence and syllabus exam detail.
We gave some students 1-2-1 coaching and this made a significant difference to their exam experience. It also made them a lot more confident in their group classes.
So we would like to open this up further and help any student who may need a few extra 1-2-1 exam sessions.
I must stress these sessions are not a replacement for regular lessons or group exam coaching, but in addition to and must be used in this way for full benefit.
There are only a limited amount of slots during our timetable so if your child would like to explore this option please email me ([email protected]) to express your interest and receive more details.
Second Hand Uniform
We would like to hold a second hand uniform sale this half term.
We are very much in need of any uniform you no longer make use of, so please bag up any items and pop them in the white plastic container outside the egg barn.
If you wish to sell items please make this known so we can reimburse you otherwise the proceeds will be donated to charity.

- Spring term resume: 7th January 2023
- Half term start: Finish after classes Friday 10th February 2023
Half term end: Resume Monday 20th February 2023 - Easter break start: After classes on 31st March 2023
Easter break end: Resume Monday 17th April 2023 - Mayday Bank holiday: Monday 1st May 2023 – no classes
- Half term start: Finish after classes Friday 26th May 2023
Half term end: Resume Monday 5th June 2023 - Break for summer: After classes on Saturday 15th July 2023
Absences
Classes during the short term time we have are important and we have adequate half term and holidays so please keep absences to a minimum as to not impact the training your child receives.
So we can fulfil our duty of care & lesson planning please notify in writing all abscences via the school email [email protected]
Shout outs
Our shout out this week goes to every student in lessons this week – the staff are all so proud with the attitude, enthusiasm and atmosphere created after returning from the Christmas break.
