Latest News and Update the 19th April

Dear Parents,

I hope you’re all well.

Show update

With only a few weeks left to the show, I would like to say a huge thank to everyone for their commitment to rehearsals especially during the Easter break.

The students brought joy to the studios and there was a real family atmosphere all week. We still have work to do, however the students have some fantastic performances to share and be proud of!

Ticket sales are steady, but we still do not have a full auditorium for each performance so please urge friends & extended family to come and watch, it will be a great day of entertainment not seen before!

REMINDER – Costume Collection, please note:

Costume hand out is this Sunday 21st April from 3-6pm (except for Preschool/Pre-Primary students who can collect tomorrow morning whilst at class as long as their balance payment has been made).

The balance of payment for all costumes must be paid before any costumes are released on Sunday. You can pay by bank transfer whilst at the studio or bring cash. No card payments.

Preparing the costumes for a show of this scale is an enormous task. I do not have a designated team, so all the costumes have been sourced, ordered, unpacked & labelled by myself and 2 other staff members.
The sourcing has been challenging as the costs of costumes & postage have risen greatly since our last show as have everything currently and quantities are in short supply.
It has taken hours & hours of work to get these costumes sorted.

The children can keep the costumes to reuse after the show, they will have the opportunity to wear them again on 6th July for the Fiskerton event and again in our Leaver’s showcase.

We have done our best to not compromise on quality so that all the children feel special for their appearance on stage in May.
This is why we only do a show every two years!

A show letter with all details on for the show weekend will be available to take away with you when you collect costumes and a copy will be emailed out too.
There are some costume items still to arrive, however most are ready to collect.

Shout outs

This week our shout out’s are for Maeyllse Capitolin-Johnston for her diligence to catch up with her show choreography in class on Tuesday.

Grade 1 Tap class for their resilience & up take of new show choreography last Saturday.

Well done!

Termly Fees

We are now into the Summer term and fees are due for the 12 week classes through to July 13th end of term.

Please pay your standing order or invoice as soon as possible so we can keep the school running efficiently for all involved.

There will be no classes immediately after the show Monday-Friday 6th-10th May

We resume on Saturday 11th May with enrolment of some new students who have patiently been waiting to start after the show.

Have a great weekend!
