Latest News and Update the 26th April

Dear Parents,

I hope you’re all well

One week to go to the show!
Thank you to everyone for a very smooth Costume handout day last Sunday & a special thank you for Tracey Swaffer for giving up her afternoon to help with us.

There maybe some small remaining costume issues to complete and after the dress rehearsals these will be sorted.

Dress rehearsal this evening (26th April)
for the following groups:

  • HMS Tozer
  • Wild wild Party
  • Siren song
  • Seascape
  • Feeling Good
  • Black and Gold
  • Billy Elliot

Please have your hair styled for the show in a slick low bun,no make up required.

All other numbers with costume will be rehearsed tomorrow as advised (normal rehearsal timetable) + Finale at 1pm

It will be very busy at the studios so please have all costumes named & on named hangers & most of all please be patient as it is a huge task to get through tonight & tomorrow’s rehearsal days.

The students will have lots of fun rehearsing in their costumes & will really help to get them into the show spirit for next week!

Ticket Sales

Unfortunately the theatre box office have advised me that ticket sales are below our usual levels! Please encourage as many friends and family as possible to come and support – it will be a super afternoon/ evening of entertainment without having to go to London & cheaper!

Let’s get one last huge push this week to get more audience in – spread the word! There will not be another Tozer show for 2 years!
Thank you for your help!

Everyone should have had a copy of the show weekend letter (details for arrival at the theatre etc)
If you have not had one please let us know tomorrow & we can pass one on so you have it to keep as a point of reference.

After the show weekend there will be no lessons until Saturday 11th May.

Dates for your diary:

  • Half term after Friday lessons 24th May
  • Saturday 6th July – afternoon Fiskerton village event.
  • All street dance students will be required to perform as well as a few other show numbers (to be advised)
  • Saturday 13th July -Leavers’ showcase in the afternoon/early evening -all students from Grade 2 upwards required to perform.

Any questions regarding anything, please ask so we can help!

Have a good weekend!
