Classes resume today and we are looking forward to a busy half term ahead. Can we please remain vigilant with our safety measures of wearing masks around the premises, sanitising hands before and after classes and social distance whenever possible.
As the warmer weather is here, we would like to emphasise that the outdoor space can be used more than the changing areas when it is dry.
Great news! Ben Cahn will be returning tomorrow for face to face classes this half term.
It will be an absolute delight to have singing back in the studio, we have missed it so much!
There are NO private vocals today. Classes will resume tomorrow for those on a Tuesday and today’s private vocals will go ahead next Monday instead.
Some adjustments have had to be made to the timetable.
Tuesday’s group vocal will be as follows in Studio 1:
Junior – 4.15 – 5.00pm
Senior – 5.00 – 6.00pm
Inter – 6.00 – 6.45pm
You can view the updated timetables here.
All students taking part will be given a named visor to wear in class. These will need to be kept clean and worn every week during the lesson. No visor, no singing! If you lose your visor you will need to provide your own to replace it as we do not have vast quantities.
Ballet Exams – Thursday 17th June
Thank you to Mrs Burnett for the exam coaching sessions over the past few weeks for those who attended. Sundays are precious and she has worked hard to help the students improve for the exams.
Mrs Burnett would like to see your exam ballet shoes this week for approval for the exam session. Time is running out so please make sure you have your appropriate uniform for checking this week ready for the exam next Thursday.
Modern and Tap exams
Exam coaching begins this week for all those taking exams on Friday 2nd July (except Primary Tap coaching which starts next week). Please check you have paid for your exam and coaching as all entries have been submitted and paid to ISTD HQ.
Modern and Tap exams – Thursday 22nd July
All those invited for this exam session via email have until Saturday to return their fees and exam consent form so we can submit entries next week for this session. Please send paperwork in with your child or return via email.
This is still planned for Saturday and Sunday 17th and 18th July.
We will continue to monitor government guidelines being announced over the next few weeks regarding easing of restrictions. Details will then follow to update everyone.

Safety of everyone on the premises is vital so again I’d like to remind you all to adhere to the speed limit on the lane, park in the allocated car park when dropping off and not in the area in front of the Farmhouse. Please be vigilant when leaving the car park and look out for any children returning to parents in cars.
Thank you for all your support and here’s to a warm and happy summer half term for all.
