This week’s news update and important info – 16 March
Thank you once again for good attendance in rehearsals this week and it was great to have Sarah and Ben back in the school teaching again.
Ballet Shoes and dancewear requirements for the show update
Tracey Swaffer (Edie and Lola’s mum) has kindly organised Hardings Dancewear to attend the school to assist in supplying shoes and dancewear for the show.

Tracey has drafted the information below to help.
As part of the costume requirements for the show we are requesting that you buy specific ballet shoes, so all students are the same and look professional.
To make this process easier for you we have arranged for Hardings Dancewear from Mansfield Road in Nottingham to come into the school on Sunday 10th April 2022.
Grades will be invited into specific time slots on the day; when your child will be fitted for the ballet shoes they require for the show. This is also a good opportunity to purchase the socks/tights that are also needed and to order any other dance related accessories that you may require.
Payment will be taken on the day, and then the shoes will be delivered to the school and distributed.
If you are unable to attend on the 10th April, please do attend Hardings in Nottingham at your discretion, remembering to allow at least 2 weeks for ordering, should this be necessary.

Cake Sale
Thank you to everyone who supported our cake sale on Saturday.
We raised just over £150 which was incredible!

Shout out this week – Audition last Sunday
Our shout out this week goes to a small group of girls who auditioned for ensemble roles in the upcoming production of ‘Identical’ the Musical in July/August at the Playhouse Theatre in Nottingham with BBC’s ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ Assistant Choreographer.
All the girls had great fun and represented the school with energy and professionalism!
Another shout out must go to the mums who brought the girls and sat nervously outside the audition room!
